Shout out to those who love Korean food! Great restaurant experience for anyone who loves salty, spicy, sweet, saucy, umami bombs left and right and trying to practice Korean with the workers. I usually go for the "Bibimbap" or "Haemul pajeon" cause I love the crispy rice that forms at the bottom of the stone pot, but not this time. "Galbi Jjim" was the star of our lunch. Braised short ribs that were braised in a deep, rich, soy sauce with radishes, onions, carrots, and potato starch noodles. What more can I say? It's the Korean version of French burguignon but with short ribs that fall off the bone type of action. We also enjoyed the crispy, shredded potato pajeon filled with egg and cheese and light drizzle of teriyaki sauce, absolutely robust. It was paired with a gochujang crème Fraîche which was not necessary yetit was enjoyable. I suggest ending the meal with hot barley tea. You will be glad you did just as my friends and I did.
